SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN
Sunday school for children ages 18 months through high school is
offered throughout the school year during the 9:30 and 11:00 AM
Services. We offer Sunday School in the summer, but only
at the 9:30 AM Service.
Cribbery -
NURSERY CARE
Nursery care is available
every Sunday for infants through 18 months during
all Services from 8 AM to noon in room 106, no
reservations required.
Our nursery is equipped
with the Nursery Silent Paging System. This is a
system that allows the nursery to immediately
contact a child’s parents with the touch of a
button. The pager will then vibrate, telling them to
return to the nursery. The pages provide immediate,
silent communication anywhere in our facilities*, at
any time. Worship services are uninterrupted and
ushers do not have to go up and down the aisles
looking for parents.
On the first Sunday of the
month, children preschool - high school participate
in the sacrament of Holy Communion. Preschool
and Elementary children gather together to learn
about the sacrament prior to participating in it.
Middle High and High School youth join the
congregation when participating in it.
Special Needs Children
We have a team of teachers
who have received special needs training and are
available to be paired with a child in a classroom
with his or her peers or to teach a class one on
one. Please contact Erica Benjamin to make
these arrangements.
SPECIAL SERVICES
In September, 3rd Graders
receive a Bible and lead worship on Christmas
Education Sunday. On Christmas Eve, the 2nd
Graders help tell the story of Christmas by
participating in a pageant. On Palm Sunday,
the children process into the sanctuary to celebrate
the beginning of Holy Week. Confirmation is on
Pentecost each year.
Substitute Teachers
We are always looking for
substitute teachers for our children's Sunday School
Program.

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR ADULTS
We believe adult Christian
education is important for everyone; and to that end, we offer a
great variety of classes and studies. Some run for the entire
"school year" and are not really designed to have people come and
go. Other classes are short-term, on a variety of
topics. Classes are usually offered in the fall, Advent, Lent and
sometimes spring. Watch the Headlines page of this website and
The Octagon for current class offerings. Adult Sunday School classes are held every Sunday.

Scriptures
Taught by John Covington in room 203
A 3-year study of Scripture which you can join any
time. Includes thought-provoking questions, daily
reflection, and class discussion. Begin any time.

9:30 ADULT
Saints and
Sinners
Taught by Nancy Landers and Dick Legare in room 301
Various short term studies. Begin any time
11:00 Adult
Reid's Class
Taught by Reid Reininger in room 301
Various short term studies.Attend as often as you can, begin at any
time.

the year and during the Lent and Christmas seasons.
